MPS Full Moon Fever Blog Hop

Welcome to another stop on the Michelle Perkett Studio Full Moon Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from Lynne's Doodlebug Designs blog, you're in the right place.  If not, you will want to go back to the start at Michelle's Enchanted Inspirations blog, so you don't miss anything along the way.   They'll be prizes for some hoppers, so don't forget to say Trick or Treat or you may be left in the dark!

This weekend boasts a full moon, and fans of Michelle Perkett Studio wanted to celebrate it by showing off our Halloween goodies.  Since not all of the stops on the hop are in the U.S., we decided to open up the hop to showcase other traditions that are shared by other countries at this time of year.  Fall is such a beautiful time of year, and the creations along the way will surely impress you.  But don't daddle or stray, or you may come across some witches or other creatures that go bump in the night!

The card I made for the hop features three of Michelle's images.  You may think that freebies aren't good enough for blog hops or challenges, but you'd be wrong!  All of Michelle's images are great, and you may want to check out the freebies at her group on Paper Craft Planet.  If you want to see more of Michelle's images, just hop on over to her Etsy shop to see all of her fabulous creations!  You won't be disappointed!

The boy image on my card is called Thomas, and he is the brother of Mary Margaret who is in the witch costume.  Mary Margaret got all dressed up for the costume party, but Thomas thought it was too childish to dress up.  At least Mary Margaret's best friend is dressed as Goldilocks for the party.

All of the images were colored with colored pencils.  The orange DP is by The Paper Studio and the other is by Cloud 9 Design.  The ribbon is another one of my finds at the Target $1 Spot, and the rhinestones are all from my stash.  The cat is from the $1 bin at Michael's and the tombstone is another free image by Angie Whalley.  Don't you just love Mary Margaret's witch hat that was another freebie from Dustin Pike at Doodle Dragon Studio, and her pumpkin is a sticker from my stash.

Your next stop on the hop is at the super talented Marilyn's Cards and More blog.  If you get lost along the way, just go to the Michelle Perkett Studio challenge blog for a full list of participants.  Have a fangtastic full moon fever blog hop!

I love the story to go along with such a cute card! At least no one has to worry about Thomas being one of those older kids that shows up at your door to trick or treat. We used to get a lot of those, and then one year, my mom loaded their bags down with leftover Ensure. That was the last time they came by! lol
Thanks for sharing!

Trick or treat! It is so nice that you combined images and told us the story of this great card. I too love Michelle's work and she was a top focus of the latest batch of my cards for operation write home. I did a batch of birthday cards for our soldiers to send to the folks back home and loved coloring Thomas and Mary Margaret (the hat is perfect!) for some of those cards. Love your work!
