I hope everyone had a great time checking out the wonderful cards during the Operation Write Home's Memorial Day Blog hop.  I now have tons of new blogs to check out, and hopefully they will spark my mojo since it's been lacking lately.  My computer is finally cooperating enough to post the winner of my blog candy even though Yahoo mail system is down again right now.  Go figure!

One last note.  I just talked to Chelsey who is stationed in Haiti for some military training.  She has asked me to ask for your prayers for the people who are still living in horrible conditions even after all of the support that this nation has sent after the Hurricane.  Because of the corruption in the government, most of the lumber that was sent is still sitting in warehouses where it is rotting due to the weather conditions.  The children are supposed  to be able to attend school next year, but this may be too late for many of them.  Human trafficking is still a problem, as well as the government corruption that has pilfered most of the aid to their cronies.  The new president doesn't have the support of the congress, and the people are saying they will revolt if the president isn't able to get his legislation through.  It's easy to forget about regions after a natural disaster, so please take the time to include these people in your prayers.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner NOT!

I must apologize for keeping everyone on hold about my blog candy.  I hate it when you state you will be drawing on a certain day, and you don't.  Oh well, I guess I can put myself into that category now.

I want to thank all of the hoppers for participating in the Operation Write Home Bunny Hop!  What a great turnout!  Thanks to all that left comments.  I love getting to know more about you and why you're involved with OWH, and comments are a good way to start.  I loved all of the creative cards I saw on the hop, and now I have lots more layouts, color schemes and more to work with in my idea book that's getting bigger with every hop.  I even won some blog candy myself from Sue Blondin.  Thanks Sue!  I'm waiting on my order to arrive from MFT stamps, and then I can get inky!

OWH Bloghop Blog Candy Winner!

So, I hope that all of you have had a chance to make it through the Operation Write Home Be My Valentine Bloghop by now.  Wasn't it amazing?  If you haven't been already, and you want to start at the beginning of the hop, just go to the Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps blog.  I just love all of the eye candy and tutorials and of course the blog candy!  I guess that's why you stopped today, so maybe I should get to who won my blog candy.

I keep saying I'm going to use the Random Generator for my blog candies, but I forgot to look into it again!  I'm not sure if the Random Generator can check it against who is a follower or not, so if any of you know the answer would you please let me know?  If I still have to check all of the commenters against the followers, it defeats the purpose of using it.

Blog Candy Winner Announcement!!!

What a great party we had this past weekend for the Operation Write Home Blog Tour!  We got to meet some new people, picked up some free digis from some very generous people and best of all we got to see some more outstanding cards.  If you're just stopping here and don't know what I'm talking about, then hop right on over to the Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps Blog HERE to see the cards that were featured this weekend on the Blog Tour.

I've been pretty much MIA since Saturday due to some family committments and my health problems.  Needless to say, I'm sorry I wasn't able to get more cards posted.  I did have my DGS draw a name today from all of the names of commenters and the extra chances for the followers.  I really need to check into the random picker so I'm not spending so much time writting all of the names and then checking to see if any of them were also followers so they could be entered twice in the drawing.
